Responsibilities -
- Uses analytical skills to define system information requirements and objectives
- Communicates with clients and programmers for system maintenance or enhancement
- Identifies data conversion needs in existing programs
- Creates documentation for application changes or replacements
- Manages project plans and coordinates staff for implementation
- Monitors project status and reports to lead IS staff/manager
- Prepares formal change implementation plans
- Coaches team members and provides technical expertise on the supported application
- Works to improve utilization of the application with stakeholders
- Possibly provides system administration and configuration
- Develops and implements comprehensive test plans
- Acts as a liaison translating business requirements into technical requirements
- Educates analysts and programmers on business requirements and system applications
- Participates in the system selection process which includes needs assessment, RFP, and vendor selection.
Qualifications -
- Preferred familiarity with the project development lifecycle.
- Expertise in web-based technologies, processes, and analytics.
- Proficiency in software quality assurance and testing concepts, methods, industry best practices, tools, and standards.
- Preferred experience with Report Writing and/or Security in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle, Infor, SAP, WorkDay, Salesforce.
